Gottvertrauen benötigt

Wings Air ist die Billigfluglinie der indone­si­schen Billigfluglinie Lion Air. Ihr Slogan „Fly Is Cheap“ macht Lust auf preis­werte Abenteuer. Gottesfürchtigkeit setzt diese Airline wohl auch voraus – statt eines Bordmagazins oder eines Shoppingblattes finden wir auf unseren Sitzen eine „Invocation Card“, eine Sammlung von Gebeten.  Das Wundervolle: Es ist für Jeden was dabei! In trauter Brüderlichkeit vereint sind Muslime, Protestanten und Katholiken, auch Gläubige des Hinduismus und des Buddhismus finden eine Gebetshilfe – und der beken­nende Anhänger des Konfuzius ruft Shang Di an, den Obergott. Find ich klasse. Ich hoffe nur, dass Shang Di mir verzeiht, dass ich das Faltblatt trotz Verbots einge­steckt habe…

Cici ist ziemlich glück­lich über unsere Airlinewahl.

Ein gutes Vorbild

Auch ich möchte der Anregung von Wings Air folgen, denn bekann­ter­maßen ist die Reisedepesche auch eine Ode an die Religionsvielfalt, so wie es vom Verwaltungsrat einstimmig (!) im ersten Statut verab­schiedet wurde: „Die Reisedepesche liebt die Religionen, insbe­son­dere die kleinen und gemeinen, wie auch die Religion die Reisedepesche lieb hat.“

Deshalb hier zum Nachsprechen und (optional) Auswendiglernen einige Hilferufe für brenz­lige Gelegenheiten (wähle nach Präferenz), mit freund­li­cher Nicht-Genehmigung von Wings Air, im Originalwortlaut.

Islam

Bless us with the guidance from your angels, so that crew of this aircraft will lead us to our desti­na­tion safely. We also hope that our family remain happy and peaceful until we land safely.
